With the SQEvo from Psyclone Mods a new Squonk Mod with DNA60 enters the market, which convinces with its simple design. The Psyclone Mods SQEvo is equipped with a DNA60 chip from Evolv, which allows the squonker to be customized. Via the microUSB connector on the bottom of the mod, it can be connected to the PC and configured with the Escribe software from Evolv. Of course the firmware can be updated via Escribe.
The Psyclone Mods SQEvo is powered by a 18650 battery (not included), which can be easily inserted from below. With it you can set a power of up to 60W in watt mode. As befits a mod with a DNA chip, the SQEvo Squonker not only has a watt mode, but also temperature control. In addition to the already pre-configured wire types, you can add or adjust others via Escribe.
The SQEvo Mod is made of Delrin and stainless steel, whereas Psyclone Mods deliberately chose a rather simple design. With its dimensions of 88mm height, 46mm width and 27mm depth, the Psyclone Mods SQEvo belongs to the more compact regulated squon cores. Psyclone Mods attached great importance to an ergonomic design, therefore the opening to the squonk bottle is located at the bottom on the right side, which makes it easy to reach. On the lower left side is the display, which informs about the current settings. The squonk bottle is also inserted from below and offers a filling volume of 7.5ml.
The fire button of the Psyclone Mod SQEvo was placed on the upper left side in a way that it is easy to reach. Below it are the two buttons for plus and minus. A special feature of the SQEvo Squonk Mod is the 510 connector. This is not spring-loaded, but manually adjustable and also has a reverse thread. This has several advantages, on the one hand an optimal contact is always guaranteed and on the other hand the vaporizer can be mounted so that the openings for the airflow always point in the desired direction. A corresponding Allen key is included with the mod.
