Verdampfer RDA - Selbstwickler

Der Schweizer Hersteller E-Phoenix hat mit dem Resurrection V2 RDA einen vielseitig nutzbaren Verdampfer auf den Markt gebracht. Der Resurrection V2 RDA hat einen Durchmesser von 22mm und eignet sich dadurch für eine Vielzahl von Akkuträgern. Zieht man das Top Cap ab, erhält man Zugriff auf das Deck im klassischen 3-Post Style (1x positiv, 2x negativ). Der Verdampfer kann sowohl mit Single Coil als auch Dual Coil bestückt werden, für den Single Coil Betrieb liegt extra ein Top bei, welches die Kammer und den Airflow auf nur eine Seite reduziert.

Obwohl der E-Phoenix Resurrection V2 RDA in erster Linie für den Betrieb auf einem Squonker ausgelegt ist, kann man ihn auch als Tröpfler nutzen. Dazu liegt ihm eine Madenschraube bei, welche man von unten in den 510er schrauben kann. 

The Hellvape Passage RDA was developed together with the reviewer Suck My Mod and has some special features. The Passage RDA has a height of 25mm (without drip tip) and a diameter of 24mm. It was made for the use as a pure Dual Coil RDA. If you take off the top cap, the deck appears and you can already see the first special feature: it is a deck in the so-called 2-post style. To make it easy to place the two coils, Hellvape uses a clamp-style fastening system for the Passage RDA. A block presses on the coils from above and fixes them in place.

The Hellvape Passage RDA can be used as a pure dripper as well as on a squonkbox, a bottom feeder pin is included. If you want to use it as a dripper, you will enjoy the deep liquid trough. Another special feature of the Passage RDA is its airflow. The airflow is positioned relatively high, so it should not be so easy to get it to leak. In addition, the Hellvape Passage RDA has different air holes inside and outside. On the inside a honeycomb structure has been added, while on the outside there are three holes. The airflow can be adjusted by simply turning the top cap.

All in all the Hellvape Passage RDA is an interesting dual coil RDA with an innovative airflow.

Thanks to the generous deck, even larger coil windings can be installed without any problems. With its 24mm diameter there is enough space. Whoever enjoys it can install up to three coils. The Airflow can be adjusted perfectly to your own pulling behaviour by simply turning the upper ring. Even when the Airflow is completely open, a small pulling resistance remains. This results in a very full, pleasant and silky steam feeling. The taste development is also excellent and due to the high air grids, even when dripping strongly, the liquid will not leak out.

For all squonker friends a matching pin is included in the delivery of the Drop Dead RDA.

The processing and the optics are exemplary. The Top Cap fits perfectly and offers the right hold. The grippy Airflow ring can be turned very comfortably and still has an excellent fit.

The Hellvape Drop Dead RDA can not only inspire with its great taste and velvety steam. It also looks great and is fun to wrap.

The Basic 2.0 RDA from 5a's is a worthy successor to the well-known and popular Basic 1.1 RDA. Instead of simply improving the Basic 1.1 in some details, 5a's has launched a completely new RDA with the Basic 2.0 RDA. Like its predecessor, the 5a's Basic 2.0 RDA is a pure Single Coil RDA, but it is not just aimed at MTL or DL steamers, but is suitable for all types.

The deck of the Basic 2.0 RDA is designed in 2-post style, with the two posts integrated into the edge of the deck. Also integrated into the rim is a recess on both sides, which allows the optimal positioning of the winding. New on the Basic 2.0 RDA is the solution of the airflow. The Basic 2.0 of 5a's is supplied with 4 Airflow inserts, which all have holes of different sizes. This means that the Basic 2.0 RDA can be used in a wide range of applications, from restrictive MTL to restrictive DL to DL. The inserts can be changed easily and comfortably, as they are simply plugged onto the deck.

The 5a's Basic 2.0 RDA is made of stainless steel and before delivery the deck, the Top Cap and the Drip Tip have been polished to a mirror finish. The Drip Tip is designed as a normal 510, so that you can use your own favourite mouthpiece. The 5a's Basic 2.0 comes with a BF pin, but the accessory bag also contains a regular 510 pin, so you can also use it as a normal dripper.

Vapefly has developed the Vapefly Pixie RDA together with the vaporizer and designer Ferdinand Factor from the Philippines. The Vapefly Pixie RDA is a single coil dropper which can also be used on a squonker thanks to the included bottom feeder pin. The deck of the Pixie RDA is designed in a 2-post style, with both posts on one side of the deck, which makes it very easy to apply the coil. To place the wrap in the Vapefly Pixie RDA in the best possible way, the deck has extra recesses on 2 sides where you can place the wrap aid, which will bring the wrap into the perfect position.

The top cap of the Pixie RDA consists of 2 parts, the sleeve and the actual top cap. The sleeve also contains one of the Pixie RDA's special features, namely the airflow inserts. The Vapefly Pixie comes with 2 of these: a single hole and a multi-hole. The Single Hole insert is aimed more at steamers who prefer a rather open train, while the Multihole insert allows a more restrictive vaporizing experience. The insert is placed in the sleeve in such a way that the fresh air optimally hits the wrap and thus creates a maximum of taste.

To regulate the lateral airflow of the Vapefly Pixie RDA, the Top Cap 2 has different openings. The larger opening allows a continuous adjustment of the airflow from restrictive to fully open, while the small opening in combination with the multi-hole insert keeps the airflow restrictive from the beginning. This gives the Vapefly Pixie RDA so many combination possibilities to set the optimal airflow for yourself.

Nach dem erfolgreichen Kaonashi RDA, hat Divine Mods mit dem Kaiju RDA erneut einen tollen Tröpfler am Start. Der Divine Mods Kaiju RDA verfügt über ein Single Coil Deck, wobei die beiden Posts so in den Rand eingelassen sind, dass die elegante Optik des Deckes nicht unnötig gestört wird. Der Divine Mods Kaiju RDA bietet dank des grossen Decks viel Platz auch für grosse Wicklungen.

Der Kaiju RDA verfügt über einen seitlichen Airflow, welcher durch die Posts hindurch direkt auf die Wicklung trifft. In beiden Posts hat es dafür jeweils zwei Löcher mit 2mm, welche von oben her leicht abgeschrägt verlaufen. Durch diese Art von Airflow entwickelt der Divine Mods Kaiju RDA einen tollen Geschmack und lässt sich dank der stufenlos einstellbaren Airflow auch etwas restriktiver dampfen. Dazu hat es im Top Cap je Seite jeweils ein 2mm x 4mm Luftloch. Und dank der grossen Liquidwanne ist der Dampfspass auch nicht so schnell vorbei. Wem dies aber nicht reicht, der kann den Kaiju RDA dank des beiliegenden Bottom Feeder Pins natürlich auch auf einem Squonker Mod nutzen.

Auch die Ausstattung des Divine Mods Kaiju RDA kann sich sehen lassen, denn für das Edelstahl Top Cap liegen dem Kaiju gleich mehrere Drip Tip Möglichkeiten bei. Nebst dem Integral Wide Bore Drip Tip aus schwarzem Ultem liegt dem Kaiju RDA noch ein 510 Adapter und ein 510 Drip Tip bei, beides ebenfalls aus schwarzem Ultem. Und zur optischen Krönung wird der Divine Mods Kaiju RDA noch mit einem Beauty Ring aus schwarzem Ultem geliefert.

Mit dem Kaiju RDA beweisen Divine Mods mal wieder ihre Fertigkeiten wenn es darum geht, einen high-end Verdampfer herzustellen. Und dank des umfangreichen Lieferumfanges, fühlt sich der Kaiju RDA auf jeder Art von Akkuträger pudelwohl.

The Eden Mods Salix RDA Slam Cap replaces the standard top cap of the Salix RDA. In contrast to the standard cap, the slam cap does not build up so it also has a slightly smaller chamber, which in turn benefits the taste.

The Salix RDA from Eden Mods was developed with a view to restrictive vaping and MTL. Accordingly, the 22mm Salix RDA has a deck optimized for single coils, whereby the posts are probably unique in their kind. The posts are slightly staggered placed and take almost half of the deck, which due to the slotted design of the postholes the winding does not need to be shortened unnecessarily.

The Airflow of the Eden Mods Salix RDA is very versatile, thanks to the three different usable Airflow inserts (Air Cassettes) made of PEEK. The inserts come with 0.8mm hole, 1.5mm hole and Wide Open (2mm x 5mm hole), which makes the Salix RDA very flexible. The air hits directly on the winding placed in front of it, which, in combination with the compact chamber, leads to a great taste sensation. And to ensure that the winding is really clean in front of the air hole, the Salix RDA has in the edge of the deck on both sides of a recess for the winding rod, so that the winding can be aligned nicely.
