Mit dem SX Mini G Class aus dem Hause Dongguan Yihi Electronic Co. betritt ein high-end Bolide die Dampferszene. Schon beim auspacken merkt man gleich, dass es sich hierbei nicht um irgendein günstiges Modell handelt und spätestens nach dem einschalten merkt man auch, dass dieser Mod einem sehr viel zu bieten hat, in vielerlei Hinsicht.

Befeuert wird der SX Mini G Class von einem YiHi SX550J Chip und als Display komm ein kleines IPS Panel zum Einsatz, was in einem schönen und scharfen Bild resultiert. Zum navigieren im Menü hat man einen kleinen Joystick, der so am Gerät platziert ist, dass man ihn problemlos mit nur einer Hand bedienen kann. Und wer nicht am Gerät selber die Einstellungen vornehmen will, der installiert sich entweder die App SXi (für Android & iOS) oder installiert die PC-Software. Um Anpassungen über die Software vornehmen zu können, muss man sein Handy per Bluetooth mit dem Mod koppeln, danach kann man sich austoben. Die Software bietet unter anderem  die Möglichkeit, um nach Firmware Updates zu schauen, den Displayhintergrund zu ändern oder eben die Modis seinem eigenen Geschmack nach anzupassen.

Als Akkus kommen beim SX Mini jeweils 2x 18650 Zellen (nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten) zum Einsatz, damit kann das Gerät mit bis zu 200W feuern. Als Modis stehen VW, Bypass und TC zur Wahl, wobei grad der TC Modus mit einem interessanten Detail aufwarten kann: Variable Joule. Dieser Mode kann  mit Stainless Steel, Ni200 und Ti01 Drähten genutzt werden (Widerstand: 0,05 Ohm bis 1,0 Ohm im Joule Modus), wobei man sich schon erst mit den Eigenheiten von Joule vertraut machen sollte. Auch verfügt der Mod im Temperaturmodus über eine Anti-Dry Burning Technologie, sprich Dry Hits sollten dadurch der Vergangenheit angehören.

Auch bei den Output  Modis hat der Nutzer die Qual der Wahl, denn es stehen so einige Modis zur Auswahl: von Eco zu Standard über Powerful zu Powerful+ bis hin zu den SXiQ_S1 bis SXiQ_S5. Grad die Output Modis SXiQ_S1 bis S5 bieten wiederum die Möglichkeit, dass man sich die Output-Kurve selbst an den eigenen Geschmack anpassen kann. Man sieht, der Mod ist vollgestopft mit hochwertiger Technik und bietet unzählige Möglichkeiten.
